Winter Home Maintenance Tips
Tip 1
If you didn't change the batteries in
your smoke detectors at New Years, now would be
a good time.
Tip 2
While getting ready for winter we suggest
you disconnect and remove all garden hoses and
store them away. Its also a good time to check
for leaky hose bibbs.
Tip 3
Call a professional to inspect and clean
your chimney. Fireplaces that are regularly
used during the season should have an annual
cleaning to prevent dangerous chimney fires.
Tip 4
Now that all the leaves have fallen from
the trees it is important to clean gutters and
downspouts. Neglected gutters can lead to wood
rot problems, pest infestations and foundation
damage
